Black Walnut Aged Slab/ Live Edge Crotch Cut Planed Tabletop Artistic Wood 209B

209B- Black Walnut slab perfect for a tabletop. Very nice marbled/ speckled color to this piece.

NOTE: there is a very slight twist to the length of the slab- it is difficult to capture in photos. It is not perfectly flat but very close. This Black Walnut Slab was milled 1.5 years ago, kiln dried and has been stored indoors in 45% humidity. My moisture meter reads 7%. The slab has been planed (one side)and lightly sanded.

The bark is mostly intact. The main side shown in the photos was planed nicely.

The opposite side was planed only on the highest points to maximize thickness. It is approximately 11-22 inches wide and irregular shaped. It is just over 36 inches long at the longest point. It is approximately 1 1/8 inch thick. The photos show both sides.

It was misted with water to help show the finished color in some of the photos. These are beautiful rustic pieces with occasional chips, cracks, frayed edges, insect holes and trails, etc.
