Dimensions: Approximately 21.75" L x 13.75" W x 2.2 Thick. The chef's knife in the photos (not included in the sale) is roughly thirteen inches long for reference. Also please note the thickness. It is thicker than other boards made out there.
This is is a big, sturdy, heavy duty board at 2. It can be used on either side. Handles conveniently created on ends for easy lifting. I use a 5 step sanding process to assure the product is silky smooth.The board has not been stained; what you see is the natural color. It has been treated in food grade mineral oil and finished with an organic beeswax/mineral oil mixture. Any minor variations in the wood have been sealed with food safe black epoxy to assure stability.
Care: Hand wash with warm water and soap only, then towel dry immediately and stand to dry on edge. Do not put the cutting board in the dishwasher. I recommend revitalizing your cutting board with food safe mineral oil or butcher block conditioner once every couple of months.
If your board endures heavy daily use, you can refinish it more often as needed.
