We specialize in Lived Edge Slabs and Mantels. Our wood is kiln-dried and ready to go! Some of our mantels are sanded and finished and some are just the raw wood product ready for a craftsman to finish them up.

We enjoy working with professional and talented woodworkers as well as those starting out and finishing their first project. Wood is our passion, so PLEASE let us know if you need advice or assistance with the finishing process. We are also happy to give tours and explain the full process. Beware--Many of the cheap slabs and mantels that you will find out there will bend, twist, and do what an unpredictable natural product does as it dries out.

Wood must be dried in order to be finished properly. A high moisture content will create issues with the finish and stability (they crack and move).

Our mantels are SOLID WOOD, not boxes framed up, not plywood, and not cheap things thrown together. They are the actual size or longer that you will need for above your fireplace or wherever you can dream up.

We take our products all the way from the log form --to the mill-- to the kiln--to the planer/flattener--to our showroom--then to you! We also have a wide selection of imported and domestic wood, including Purpleheart, Wenge, Parota, Padauk, Zebrawood, Teak, Walnut, Ash, Cherry, Spalted, Curley, and Ambrosia Maple, White Oak, Red Oak, Flaming Box Elder, and much more. We are a custom sawmill, so if you can dream of it, we can cut it.

Bring us your log, or we can pick it up and take it from the log form all the way to the end product. This includes milling, stacking, kiln drying, straight-lining/planing, and slab flattening.
