As such, these pieces typically have been surfaced and sanded to a much finer degree than generally encountered when purchasing raw lumber. We take great efforts to accurately describe and photograph each piece of Koa offered for sale. As a natural wood product, there are always inherent defects that may be present. Please be advised we mill our lumber only to rough specification.

Although some of the listing photographs may give a different impression, our wood does often include millwork flaws such as end-grain checking, sawing scars, planing snipe and/or tear-out, woodgrain run-out, sanding marks, hairline cracks, insect bore holes.
