Live Edge Elm Slab/ Y-Cut Slab/ Siberian Elm Wood/ Live Edge Tabletop- 902E J&R

  
902E- Live Edge Siberian Elm slab. Very nice color and figure with a unique Y shape. Would make a great tabletop. This elm slab was milled 9 months ago and has been stored indoors in controlled 40% humidity. Should be dry enough to start work, my moisture meter reads 12%.

It is approximately 56 inches long. It is approximately 19-29 inches wide. It is approximately 1 5/8- 1 3/4 inch thick. The slab is not perfectly flat. It has some cupping and uneven surface.

The most of it is at the widest part of the slab. It's not too bad, most of the slab is fairly flat. Let me know if you need more photos. There is some drying cracks and a bark filled crater down the middle. This could likely be removed and filled with epoxy.

It has been misted with water for some of the photos to better show the finished color. The slab has not been planed or kiln dried. It was lightly sanded before the photos but the surface is still rough with saw marks. Let me know if you need more photos or have any questions.
