This piece is crafted with the wet-cut mosaic technique and the materials are red earthen ware with proprietary glaze chemistry. It has been in several art shows since its inception and most recently has been shown at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Mosaics, in their Pandemic Portraiture series. While the true meaning is open to interpretation, according to the artist this piece invokes the creeping infectious nature of the growing paranoia during the Cvd-19 Pandemic as well as the information overload and desensitizing effect it has on a populations sensibilities.
